I am a Special Olympics Connecticut athlete and Global Messenger. I'd like to talk about what Special Olympics means to my fellow athletes and me.

Special Olympics Connecticut means expressing yourself, going for the gold and having a good time. I also feel that Special Olympics Connecticut brings closeness to us all. We all have a good time and we enjoy each other's laughter and fun throughout the games. We strive to do the best we can.

Summer Games is a chance for us to make new friends, and meet up again with the old friends. Also the challenge of competition, the dance and Olympic Town are great to look forward to at Summer Games.

My message to all my fellow athletes would be to express yourself, have a good time, do your best and always go for the gold!!!
