Jennifer Carlson of Marlborough has been involved with Special Olympics Connecticut for 12 years. Along with competing in three sports, Jennifer is also a Global Messenger. She has been a member of the Global Messenger program for four years, and has been a part of many out of state trainings. Jennifer enjoys speaking at Opening Ceremonies, to schools, and even to businesses.

She says, "I am happy I am able to go out as a Global Messenger and spread the word about Special Olympics Connecticut." Outside of SOCT, her interests are listening to music, watching television, and checking her email on the computer. Jennifer is also involved in Tae kwondo, where she really shows off powerful skills.
