I am a 2001 graduate of Berlin High School. While a student, I was a member of the boy's track and field team. I participated on the Unified soccer & basketball teams. I was voted "Most School Spirit" by my peers. In 2000 I received the "Spirit of Life" award from the Special Olympics Connecticut. I also play ice hockey for the Connecticut Chasers. This team is part of Special Hockey International. It consists of teams from the United States, Canada & England. Each spring we participate in a tournament at a different host city. This has given me an opportunity to travel to many cities in the U.S. and Canada. I love playing sports, it makes me feel good about myself and has given me the chance to make many new friends.
