In 2003, Ray Hadden was honored with the Spirit of Life Award at the State Capitol in Hartford. This award truly exemplifies the type of person Ray is- bubbly, outgoing, personable, and spirited.

Ray is also a Global Messenger for SOCT, where he travels to businesses, schools, and competitions to speak for the organization. His charming personality is revealed when Ray steps up to the microphone. When Ray isn't competing, you can find him in the kitchen at the Canterbury School, doing a job that he loves! Ray also enjoys UCONN basketball, listening to music, and playing with his dog Skippy.
