Theresa McSparran of Clinton has only been a member of the Global Messenger family for a year; however she has proven her place. Theresa has been involved with Special Olympics Connecticut for 30 years, and in that amount of time racked up quite a few medals, trophies and ribbons. In the winter of 2005, Theresa competed at the Winter World games in snowshoeing. The games took place in Japan! Her favorite part of Special Olympics CT is meeting new people and participating in the Unified Sports program.

Outside of SOCT, Theresa enjoys going to dinner and seeing movies, cross word puzzles and word searches.
