Raishaun Holloway is an athlete from West Hartford who will represent Connecticut and compete in track and field at the 2026 USA Special Olympics Games. Raishaun is 46 years old and works at CW River Valley Production in New Britain. He’s been involved in Special Olympics since 1998 and has participated in basketball, bowling, floorball, softball, and bowling in addition to track and field. He is also a Global Messenger, Health Messenger, and Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run® Council Member.
Raishaun says that Special Olympics has changed his life by helping him meet new people, make new friends, and have a good time.
Along with participating in Special Olympics, Raishaun enjoys taking walks and jogging. He is known for having a great sense of humor and personality. Raishaun admires his coaches because they train him and all the other athletes to be better.
This will be Raishaun’s fourth time going to a Special Olympics USA Games event. He’s participated in Unified Sports® basketball in Iowa, volleyball in Nebraska, and track and field in New Jersey.
“Attending the USA Games means a lot to me because I did it before. It’s a very good experience and I like the other teams that compete,” says Raishaun.
