Healthy Habits Education at Bocce

Healthy Habits Education involves interactive education stations at events, focusing on how healthy habits impact sports performance and daily life. Our Healthy Habits Education will focus on positive self-talk and motivational affirmations - on and off the field. The activity will include creating your own positive affirmation through art and creativity.

Performance Stations are an exciting, interactive part of the event designed to help students prepare both mentally and physically for competition. The following stations will be offered with fitness-themed giveaways like t-shirts, stickers, and healthy snacks available along the way:

Competition Readiness: participants make sure they have the physical items they need to compete—like the right socks, ponytail holders, and other essential gear.

Game Day Minds: participants focus on building mental readiness through strategies to stay calm, focused, and confident.

Physical Activity: participants learn proper warm-up and cool-down techniques to support injury prevention and peak performance.

Nutrition and Hydration: participants are educated on how to fuel the body before, during, and after activity.

Pledge: participants commit to healthier habits by setting a personal fitness goal.

Training for Coaches and Healthcare Providers

Special Olympics International E-Learning Portal

This resource provides free educational and interactive courses for coaches, health & wellness professionals, and educators. The Online Learning Portal offers specific training programs for various learning groups, including training modules, assessments, and other resources. Learners can track their progress and collaborate with others.
