Quinebaug Valley Special Olympics is looking for volunteers:
Volunteers to help out with our soccer program at practices on Fridays at the Putnam Middle School Upper fields. Volunteer roles include being a partner in our junior and master Unified soccer teams, assisting in our soccer skills program as well as assisting in our soccer team practices (both Traditional 5 a side soccer and Unified 7 a side soccer). Additionally, we are seeking anyone interested in being a Special Olympics Soccer coach or Assistant coach.

Softball - Volunteers needed to assist in our Softball program- we currently have a Unified Team and a Traditional Team and a Softball Skills program The Program runs from the beginning of July to second week in September. Practices are Tuesday evenings at Murphy Park in Putnam CT. looking for people willing to assist at practices and partners for the Unified team.
Bocce - Volunteers needed to assist and/or Coach our athletes in our Bocce Program. We currently offer Traditional Singles and Doubles teams Program runs from beginning of July to Second week in September. Practices are on Tuesday evening at the Putnam National Armory (next to Murphy Park).
Unified Croquet - Looking for volunteers interested in being a partner in Unified Croquet. The program runs from Early July to second weekend in September. Practices are on Wednesday evening at Thornfield Hall in Thompson CT.
