Kevin Monticone

Kevin Monticone joined the Oxford High School Unified basketball team a year ago, and now, he’s part of the group who will represent Connecticut at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games! Through Unified Sports®, he has gained a brighter perspective on the world and embraced the principle of putting team over self.

A multi-sport athlete, Kevin excels both on the court and on the field. He has gained many accolades on Oxford’s soccer team, earning multiple All-Conference honors, Player of the Year awards, All-State recognition, and serving as team captain. Overcoming his fear of embarrassment has been one of his biggest personal growth moments, helping him build confidence and character.

A senior at Oxford High School, he also serves as Vice President of the Mountain Bike Club and works at Woodhaven Country Club. He enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing, and music, and is honored to represent Connecticut at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.
