Caleb Pruzinsky

Unified Softball Partner

Waterbury, CT

Meet Caleb Pruzinsky, a Unified Sports® partner who is a member of the softball team that will represent Connecticut and participate in the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Caleb is 30 years old and lives in Waterbury. He works at AI Engineers in Middletown as a bridge inspector. He’s been involved in Special Olympics for more than two years and his sports include alpine skiing and snowboarding in addition to softball.

“Being involved in Special Olympics is a great experience and spending time with the athletes has taught me to be more patient and kind,” says Caleb.

Caleb is proud that he has helped many athletes have a positive experience and that they look up to him.

In addition to Special Olympics, Caleb enjoys playing golf and fishing and riding his motorcycle in the warmer months and snowboarding in the winter.

Caleb admires his mother the most because she is strong and intelligent and because of the sacrifices she’s made for his brother and him.

“Attending the USA Games means that I get the opportunity to represent Connecticut in a very special event and I get to share that experience with the athletes and coaches,” says Caleb.

To prepare for the Games, Caleb is attending weekly team practices and going to the batting cages to practice his swing.
