Alexis Rice

Alexis Rice is a Unified Sports® athlete and member of the Oxford High School Unified basketball team going to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games. Alexis is 17 years old and works at Rita’s Italian Ice. She has been involved in Special Olympics for over a year.
“Special Olympics changed my life because it showed me how everyone should be involved and made me view everything differently,” says Alexis.
Alexis participates in Unified basketball and track and field, and also volunteers at her church. She admires her family and friends the most.
Alexis is excited to go to the USA Games, make new friends, and learn more things. To prepare, she’s been spending extra time practicing her basketball skills.
